| TIP Problem I have a recent problem (2 days) with the TIP. I have a Lenovo X60 running Vista. I recently installed Office 2007. Two days ago, I believe after a download of upgrades, I experience problems with the TIP in Word 2007. The program does not automatically put in spaces between words. Specifically, after I insert words and then use the TIP again, the program does not enter a space. Additionally, when I go to a word, the TIP program does not come up with another possibility. I changed the name of the normal.dot program - no help. This problem unmasks the fragility of what we have, frustrating, at times painful and certainly time consuming. I use my tablet as a writer, for conversion of my handwriting to text. So this is a real problem. Would appreciate your wisdom and experience. Thanks SteveS |

| RE: TIP Problem Hi Steve, TIP has two types of ink entries: - Writing Pad looks like a line entry, where you can enter ink text continuosly. That mode should result in space auto-entry in Word when converted text is inserted. - Character Pad looks like a grid and is intended for the ink text entry one letter, number, symbol at a time and should not result in space auto-entry in Word. Do you use Character Pad or Writing Pad of the TIP when inking words into the Word? "Steve S" wrote: > I have a recent problem (2 days) with the TIP. > I have a Lenovo X60 running Vista. | RE: TIP Problem Hello Lidia The problem resolved. I do not know the reason. I did not do anything special. There was an upgrade download. I use the writing pad. There was a problem with automatic spacing. It stopped working after text was inserted. Now working for mysterious reasons. The only problem I have is one that has been with me for some time. I think it is a bug. Automatic spacing does not take place after a period and when the letter "I" is used. Appreciate your offer of help. As you know, this can be a frustrating process. I am glad to be back on track. Steve S "Lidia Schwarz" wrote: > Hi Steve, > > TIP has two types of ink entries: > - Writing Pad looks like a line entry, where you can enter ink text > continuosly.
