TC 1100 uses a Wacom as far as I know. You can probably order a replacement
from HP, or you can get the Cross pen which is good but won't fit in the
tablet.

I think the TC 1000 used a Finepoint digitizer, but I could be wrong on
that.

Re: which pen for an HP TC1100?

Thanks for the info, but I tried to use the pen that comes with the Wacom
Graphire graphics tablet and it didn't work. What am I missing? Are there
several types of Wacom pens?

Does the tablet pen have a tether? If so, think the tether connection
is part of the sensing process for the add on tablets.

In any case, if it doesn't work, time to bite the bullet and get a
replacement... look around as you will often find two or three packs to
prepare for the next loss.

I thought they were universal, but I don't have an external wacom so I don't
know for sure. Ask around on the forums at www.gottabemobile.com. They have
hardware-specific forums where you're sure to find other TC 1100 owners.

Re: which pen for an HP TC1100?

I am not sure this is the case as it worked without any tether before I lost
it... (sob...)

You have a good point about the next loss... I just lost my PDA
stylus..... (sob... again...)
