| HP Pavilion tx1000 and Microsoft tablet PC stopped working My boss has a tx1000 running Vista business. The Microsoft tablet PC stopped working. After 1 1/2 hours on the phone with HP, they recommended doing a system restore - which is the last thing we want to do due to the problems we had with printer drivers, display drivers, Palm, etc. In the control panel, I went to problem history which showed that it had stopped working, but offered no solutions. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Suzanne |

| RE: HP Pavilion tx1000 and Microsoft tablet PC stopped working Suzanne I have also had a similar issue with this model and ended up removing Vista and installed Windows XP SP-2 Tablet edition which runs efficiently and supports printers and PDA's, it also allows Novell Client to be used as Vista's is still in BETA and is awful! Contact your seller for Windows XP SP-2 Tablet CD's. Regards Alan "Suzanne" wrote: > My boss has a tx1000 running Vista business. The Microsoft tablet PC stopped > working. | Re: HP Pavilion tx1000 and Microsoft tablet PC stopped working Vista is not in beta and it works very well as a Tablet PC platform and you'd have to be nuts to wanna go back to XP after spending some time with Vista. -- Josh Einstein (Tablet PC MVP) Einstein Technologies Tablet Enhancements for Outlook - Try it free: www.tabletoutlook.com "AL" <AL@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C7C2D133-7F32-4444-965D-2EDEC2BA3FF0@microsoft.com... > Suzanne > > I have also had a similar issue with this model and ended up removing > Vista > and installed Windows XP SP-2 Tablet edition which runs efficiently and > supports printers and PDA's, it also allows Novell Client to be used as > Vista's is still in BETA and is awful!
