Voice/Dictation/Command

Man oh man, has anyone else had problems with this
feature? It seems to be getting worse and worse. When I
first tried it (before going through any voice training)
was half way decent...every once in a while I would get a
noise from the speaker and I would see "What was that" ...
etc., but now sheeesh all I got to do is turn the feature
on and say "What can I say", and boy does it go crazy, I
hear all kinds of noise (the beeps and honks that it
gives you when it doesn't understand :) ), and I get all
kinds of "What did you say's" over and over and over
again with me saying nothing but "What can I say" one
time. I've trained the voice recognition, I've went
through the microphone training to set it up...etc...etc,
but nothing seems to make it stop.
Suggestions...comments, please, I'll take any and all :)

Lonnie

Re: Voice/Dictation/Command

I couldn't begin to tell if I do or not :) as I'm not
that familiar with office. How do I check that? I've got
Microsoft Office XP Small Business if that helps you
answer my question :) Thanks for your response

Re: Voice/Dictation/Command

I have found what the problem was. I noticed that the
volume was turned up. After turning it down all the way,
the problem no longer exists. I'm guessing that this was
the problem since I have done nothing else but turn it
down.

Re: Voice/Dictation/Command

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Lonnie. I was offline until
late last night.

I'm glad you got it fixed and posted back. It's something we'll remember if
anyone else has the same problem.
