| External Cardreaders for a TAblet PC? BETTER MAKE A SEPARATE TOPIC, because folks may not reread my addendum to my former entry. Sorry for any redundancy. New: see the weight of the EZ-Tablet, wh willget a 1 gb TM soon. (The OZO & Flipstart's smallest XPs hv 1gb TMs too: guess can't get Intel?) When I asked for an external Pcmcia external cardreader in another topic-listing, the other computer, I should have mentioned having in mind, is a Tablet PC(having no inbuilt Pcmcia-Cf slots -- too primitive for Asians): the EZ-Tablet, made by www.ecs.com.tw (ECS, largest motherboard maker in world -- go to product, then EZ-Tablet). This the smallest-screen T PC (8.4") that is the cheapest ($999 -- from www.hughbee.com, its American distributor, comes closest to a T PC handheld, like the WinCE 8.9" Nec MobilePro (full kyboard). But it has only a 4in1 card port for newer cards (SD,mmc, etc). No Pcmcia, CF!!! 1So I would need an external card reader I could velcro to its back and cable to one of its 2 Usb ports. Need to know this bfr I buy. 2Can any card reader that says it runs on XP b trusted to run on XP Tablet OS? 2a Into an external Pcmcia (same as PC card?) cardreadr , maybe a 2 special sleeve is inserted to read CFers, yes? where get?] 3 Cost? 4 Deals? 5 What to look for and to look out for? |
