Tablet Input Panel Problem

I have a new Fujitsu T4215 with Windows Vista Home Premium, and Office 2007
and One Note 2007.

Last night, I tried using the input panel for the first time. It works and
inserts text, if its first guess at the word is correct. However, if I
choose an alternate word, try changing a letter or try using the delete text
button, it does not change the word.

I have applied all the updates through Windows Update. Any ideas?

RE: Tablet Input Panel Problem

An another additional problem that may or may not be related. When I got
the computer about 3 weeks ago, I installed a new hard drive and a fresh
version of Vista. I noticed that after installing some updates the device
manager link from the system page(control panel-system) did not work.
However, I could get to device manager by clicking on remote settings, then
choosing the hardware tab.

I had to reinstall Vista again, due to a registry problem that preventing
booting. The new install device manager worked. Today, I tried accessing
device manager from the system page, and it does not work.

Are the Vista patches causing problems?

RE: Tablet Input Panel Problem

The earlier posts did not make it.
How was your problem resolved.
I have just had this appear. I believe it to be a problem with Vista.
