Tablet PC doesnīt like Microsoft Smartphone

Tablet PC doesnīt like Microsoft Smartphone:

1) when I try to use handwriting in MSN messenger in Tablet PC when chatting
with somebody using MSN messenger in Microsoft Smartphone, then it doesnīt
work and I get message: Not all participants can view handwriting, so your
messages will be sent as text

2) handwriting recognition in Tablet PC doesnīt know the word "smartphone",
when I hand write "smartphone", then it rcognizes it as 2 words: "smart
phone" - no matter how close I put "t" and "p" - even if I join these
letters.

Isnīt it pathetic that these 2 departments in Microsoft donīt cooperate
with each other? After all both these devices are MOBILE !

What? I don't see the problem, the smartphones do not have huge screens, and
as suh wouldn't be great for viewing handwritten prose, and so sending it as
text seems the obvious solution.

Re: Tablet PC doesnīt like Microsoft Smartphone

MSN on the smartphone is a cut down version anyway you can see emoticon or
different fonts or colours.
So why should you be able to see handwriting? it would just look awfull its
hard enough to have a proper conversation as it is already.
