Fujitsu Boot problem

I downloaded an update from the MS update site(can't remember which one, I was doing two other things at the same time) and now I can't boot into windows. I have a Fujitsu dock and their restore discs. I have tried safe boot mode etc. and get this error message: system32\drivers\pci.sys is missing or corrupt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I had a tablet pc boot disc my dock is supported and the tablet will boot off of the cd. I tried with a Norton systemworks 2003 and can get a dos prompt. Help!

Re: Fujitsu Boot problem

I did a full update of all the critical updates the other day... to my
Fujitsu, and ended up with no problems. So hopefully, it's not generic.
