Crossword Power Toy Gets Fatal Exception

Hi, Everyone.

When I run the NY Times crossword power toy, it fails with the
message:

Crossword.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0xa38 (2616), Thread id=0xe40 (3648)

I've un-installed and re-installed the power toy and the .NET
Framework many times, and the result is always the same. Any idea
what's wrong?

I have a Motion M1300 with a dual boot using the Motion OEM version of
Tablet PC and the MSDN version of Tablet PC. The error occurs when I
run the MSDN version. The crossword power toy works fine when I run
the Motion version.

Re: Crossword Power Toy Gets Fatal Exception

Dear Andreas
I appreciate your input but - while not being a developer
with all the tools listed perhaps except for office 2k3 -
I am experiencing exactly the same type of problems with
basically all programs utilizing .net. I am running a
regular hp tc1100 with 512 memory and 1ghz processor. So
what can I do??

Looking forward to your reply
Best regards

piotr
