The title "Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition" on:

makes it sound like these PowerToys would not work with regular XP with a
Wacom tablet. However, there is no explicit statement whether the Tablet
version of XP is needed. Is Tablet XP needed to use the PowerToys?

I'm not sure what the results would be, Mickey, or even if they'll install,
but most of the PowerToys are specifically ink-enabled to work with the
digitizer pen setup with the Tablet PCs. Usually when a Wacom writing pad
is used to emulate the Tablet inking, the results are less than acceptable.
Wacom's sample at less than 1/3 the rate of the digital recognition on
Tablets.

The PowerToy that looks most enticing is "Tablet PC Music Composition Tool",
which shouldn't require a lot of high-resolution digital recognition. It
would be comforting to know that it can be installed and not cause problems
on non-Tablet XP before I'd take the plunge.
