Motion Computing M1300 and Accessories For Sale

I'm selling a one month old Motion Computing M1300 on Ebay with almost
every accessory made. As you know from this group, it takes a while
to get these from Motion. In addition to the slate, the package
includes:

FlexDock Docking Station ($229.99)

External Battery Charger ($189.99)

Two Additional 6 Cell Batteries ($159.99 each)

Hard Top Keyboard ($129.99)

External DVD/CD Drive ($299.99)

Executive Portfolio ($59.99)

Extra 256 MB RAM ($79.99)

The unit will be shipped in the original packaging with everything
that came with it. Total on Motion Computing website: $2,909.91. My
reserve on Ebay is $2,400. Take a look at :

Hi Mark. At the current price it doesn't look like I will sell it! I
put it up because I would like to get a Portege M 200. The hard top
keyboard on the Motion just doesn't allow serious typing. I am very
happy with the Motion in all other respects. I'm getting about 3 hours
of life from each of the 3 batteries. I find the screen bright and
readable. I'm amazed using the pen doesn't seem to leave any marks on
the screen. You can't beat the Motion weight and thickness.I won't be
upset if the reserve isn't met. I'm even learning to like One Note.

Can anyone with an M 200 tell me about the battery life? Haw about
Motion folks with Centering? Does that expand battery life?

I have the Toshiba 3500, and recently replaced it with the M200, but
haven't played with it enough to verify first hand battery life.

However, I know someone with the M200 who's used it for a few months,
and they said that while with the 3500, while they could get maybe 1.5
hours consistently with wifi on, it didn't hold a candle to the M200
replacement, where it'll run for a good three hours with the wifi
going. I never heard a number for without wifi, but it should be a
consistent increase compared to no wifi in the 3500. My 3500, when
I'd really want to stretch it out, could last me 4 or 5 hours, but
that's really dropping the performance settings to rock bottom and
doing things that didn't involve the hard drive at all.

Of course, as always, YMMV, and it's completely dependent on what
you're running when you're on batteries - lots of disk thrashing will
lower that usability without plugging into the wall.

John
