| Conflict with Dragon Naturally Speaking and Tablet TIP speech - TIP does not work I have Dragon Naturally Speaking Medical edition 6.1 installed on my Tatung tablet pc. I have download and installed the Multilanguage Tablet TIP handwriting recognition pack. Now when I try to use the TIP Speech dictation I get the Speech Recognition Enrollment window pops up but when I try to enroll I get the following error "Speech enrollment is unable to continue. Make sure that the speech engine is correctly installed, and then try again." I have tried changing the speech engine settings via the control panel but another error pops up where it says "The requested task cannot be carried out because the necessary engine could not be created. Please select a different engine and/or a different audio device.". I have tried with both the Microsoft English (U.S.) v6.0 Recognizer as well as the v6.1 recognizer. No help. Any ideas? | Re: Conflict with Dragon Naturally Speaking and Tablet TIP speech - TIP does not work My guess is that Dragon dictate takes over the speech recognition engine. Probably sets the registry to use its own engine but TIP is looking for the XP version. -- Gary A.
