I have the HP/Compaq TC1000 without the docking-station.
No i have the problem, that the OS is a little buggy caused by some software and i would like to reinstall the OS from the recovery-CDs.
Does the BIOS have support for USB-CD-ROMs so that i can boot this way? Or what else do i have to do?



Sorry for my bad english, but i´m not used to write/speak it often.

The few USB 2.0 drives I've had access to (HP DVD200e and 300e) have worked
fine with the TC1000. As far as I know, other drives should also work fine.

The only (small) catch was that the correct boot option was labeled "ATAPI
CD-ROM" in the BIOS instead of the "USB CD-ROM" that I was expecting.
