I can't see international characters on my on-screen QWERTY keyboard. Locale is OK, handwriting recognition is OK.
What shal I do?

I put it on my Portege 3500 so as to get the UK layout to match the
keyboard. Fine with the working machine, but there is an anomaly that
at power up the virtual keyboard that comes up for password has all the
character keys blank. . .

Annoying too, that you have to get that enormous download for N
languages, just to get this fairly simple layout item
