Fujitsu Stylistic high-res display memory leak

I'm using a Fujitsu Stylistic ST4121 (love it, thanks!) and have
encountered a memory leak problem when using it set at higher
display resolutions. Has anybody else encountered this or know
of a fix for the problem?

When using the tablet in my office, I prefer to put it in the docking
station and use a higher-resolution monitor, so this happens on a daily
basis. Specifically, changing the display settings to 1280x1024 or 1400x1050
instead of the default 1024x768 causes the process "igfxext.exe" to
start consuming more and more memory (as shown in Task Manager). Left
to itself, the process size will eventually grow from a little over
4MB to in excess of 200MB before I get fed up with the slow performance
and disk swapping. Setting the display resolution back to 1024x768
stops the bleeding, so to speak. It doesn't matter whether the display
output is to the monitor only, tablet only, or both (using Intel Extreme
Graphics control panel applet).

A quick Google search didn't yield any clues, nor did the Fujitsu support
website. I sent this in Fujitsu support and hope they'll have an answer,
but in the meantime I'd welcome any other leads!

Re: Fujitsu Stylistic high-res display memory leak

Hi,
The problem file is for the video driver from Intel Graphics Controller.

I suggest you contact Fujitsu and ask them for an updated driver.

Following up on my own post... Fujitsu tech support recommended a
re-install of the video driver from the installation CD. This
indeed solved the problem.
