I am strongly considering the NEC unit. It seems like the lightest and thinest one out there. Any opinions on speed, viewability, etc. would be appreciated.

At 2.2 pounds The NEC is the lightest and the thinnest of the current
Tablets. You can compare it to some of the other tablets at

I'm a very happy user. It's the lightest by 0.5 Kg and to me, this is significant. No performance issues with 512 mb RAM. The machine is beautifully crafted. Very affordable after the price reduction. I would strongly recommend a second battery and an external battery charger as the the single battery only lasts about 2 hours. kwon
