| LAN question - TC1100 I have just upgraded to a TC1100 from the TC1000 model. Now, at my work place I have a wirelsss LAN and the TC1100 works fine accessing that. Now, my docking station for the TC1100 obviously has a port for a LAN connection over a wired connection (and at a much greater speed). When I had the TC1000, when I inserted the tablet into the docking station the machine would switch to using the wired LAN connection...when I removed it from the docking station the wireless would kick in. However, this is not the case with the TC1100. It wants to use the wireless connection unless I temporarily disable it...when defeats the purpose really. What settings am I missing??? I have looked to no avail.. Can anyone help? TIA. |

| Re: LAN question - TC1100 Don't you have a button to turn the wireless off and on? Use that to turn off the wireless before docking, and you should be fine with the Ethernet connection. Pull the machine from the dock and turn the wireless back on. -- Chris H.
