I only have a small number of icons displayed in the task tray. The tablet

task I don't know how this happened, but all of a sudden, running Programs no
longer appear in the task bar. the tablet input panel icon takes up the
entire task bar from the start Button to the task tray. Un-locking/ locking
the task bar has no effect ad I can not find any setting options to show or
hide running program icons. Help!

Exactly the same problem has been occurred for my tablet, the Tablet PC
Input Panel Icon has caught all the space of taskbar, and I cannot find any
icon of the running applications on the taskbar. The problem will stay
unsolved after locking/unlocking the taskbar. Isn't there any way to restore
the taskbar to its previous mode?

When you Unlock the Taskbar, look for some vertical ::: lines and drag them
one direction or another. What probably has happened is the TIP panel
accidentally was expanded somehow and it is hiding the existing icons. You
can only adjust this back to regular position with the Taskbar in the Unlock
position. When you find the ::: line, hover your cursor over it, and the
cursor should change to a <--> type figure, then you can single left-click
(and HOLD) to drag.

Beginning to think that "bar" issues are inherent to the tablet... I use
a desktop "toolbar" docked to the right side of the screen instead of
desktop icons along with a folders bar docked to the left side, and have
already run into a number of times when they become totally
inaccessable, something which has never happened to me with the same
setup on my xppro desktop.

This thread has succeeded in making the input task bar button a prime
suspect.

Try Kelly's Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm Sometimes the Registry
gets goofed up for some reason regarding the Taskbar, and her program should
fix it for you.
