Hi

I am loooking in to purchasing a Tablet pc but i was wondering if someone could help me with the following question:

I am planning to use the tablet pc to connect to a networked database (Wireless) and use a Bluetooth Barcode reader at the same time .....

I have heard that Bluetooth and Wifi confict .....

Any one got experience of this and can shed a bit of light on the situation?

Socket Bluetooth CF & 3Com Bluetooth PC Card work very well in my P3500 when
I surf the Internet via built-in wireless all at the same time. Hope this
experience useful.

You should buy the new tablet from Compaq (HP), the TC1100. It supports both bluetooth and wireless at the same time. In fact, when you turn on the wireless, the bluetooth comes on at the same time. I used to use the older version which did not have native bluetooth support. I used the Socket CF bluetooth card which did not work well since the driver software was terrible.

When you have both installed on the Toshiba, you get a notice about that it
can conflict, since both use 2.4 Ghz range of radio.

However, I recently installed a BT USB device... and using WiFi on a regular
basis...
and didn't had any radio interference... :)
