I have installed Vista Premium on the laptop. Everything seems to be working
except the tablet pc and pen. Averatec will not support this laptop on this
OS. Can Microsoft help?

No, sorry. Your computer manufacturer either supports or doesn't support
upgrading the Vista on their machines, and they are the sole source of
updated drivers, etc., that you might need.

With the exception of the pen, at least, *IF* the tablet contains wacom
hardware. A driver downloaded from them is in many ways better the OEM
driver. As to the specific hardware in question I have no ideal but
worth researching.

The Averatec C3500 doesn't use the Wacom drivers.
