Ink desktop

In Windows XP I loved the ink desktop application. In Vista ultimate the

Re: Ink desktop

Microsoft normally first releases "add-ons" - in this case a Vista Ultimate
Extra - in the native language of the company, then does additional regional
language testing before releasing the programs in localized versions.

Re: Ink desktop

OK, thanks. But I still don't understand why the program won't install on my
Norwegian Vista Ultimate. As I remember the program does not require any
English components, which is not already on mg local Vista!

Re: Ink desktop

Microsoft sometimes will block language versions when they haven't yet
tested a program against anything but English. It takes a while to get
around to all the supported languages, and sometimes an original
English-only program will end up being part of a different "pack" which is
tested against over localized operating system languages.
