A solution for the hard disk noise of the X-41 Tablet PC

Dear friends:

Since one year, I have an X41 Tablet PC that it makes a very loud hard
disk noise (crack, tang!!!!) from time to time. It is a sort of noise
that you hear when the heads reset to their home position very fast.

I search for the problem in the Internet, and I found that this
problem is very common in the 1.8" disks that this Notebook has. It is
not dangerous (no problem!!!) but disturbing.

I want to tell you that I solved the problem downloading and
installing the new firmware for these hard disks that Lenovo publishes
in the X-41 Tablet PC Drivers Update WEB page. If you follow *exactly*
the instructions about how to install the firmware, it is very easy to
do it, and I am sure that the disk will work a lot more comfortable
with it.

Thanks

Thanks Juan, I'll keep this in mind if my X41 starts making that kind of
noise.
