| Windows Vista - Windows Mobile 5.0 Sync I am using Windows Vista Ultimate and Trying to Sync my PPC 6700 (Windows Mobile 5.0), but no luck so far. When I connect using USB cable, it goes through (for the first time) installing drivers and says its ready to use. But I dont get Windows Mobile Device Center application to pop up. If I go to control panel and click on 'Windows Mobile Device Center' link, all I get is a connection settings dialog box and it says waiting for device to connect. Why is Vista (device center) not recognizing my device.? |

| RE: Windows Vista - Windows Mobile 5.0 Sync The download link is no longer working. Has anyone gotten a PPC6700 to work with Vista? The route cause was with the firewall application which was blocking or preventing the connection between the phone / PDA and Windows Mobile. Check your firewall program and enable the connection, and that should fix your issue. |
