Realtek Drivers taking up 10.8 Gigs?!

Hi all,

First time posting here.

Anyway, is it normal for my realtek drivers to take up 10 gigs? In order to
get sound with RC1 I had to do an upgrade from XPx64. But, the download was
only 45MB, extracted I think only 100MB total. Anyway, if anyone else has
this issue I'm kinda curious if you were able to resolve it. Below, I set up
a website showing my Add/Remove Programs folder showing the program and it's
usage. Any thoughts appreciated!

I didn't install them on Vista, but on X64 mine are only 1.09mb. Big
difference.

I think what is happening is it is showing the size of whatever folder the
drivers are contained in. I have had that issue on XP and 2000. It might be
some way that the installer builds the uninstall entry.

Re: Realtek Drivers taking up 10.8 Gigs?!

Nope, my Realtek drivers show 10.6 Mb. Either your system is showing
something incorrectly, or your driver has some issues. Check to see if that
number is correct by checking your hard drive loss, and measure it by the
numbers..
