Re: Automatic Shut down with Vista RC1

Hello,

This can be done using scheduled tasks:

- Click start
- Type: task scheduler
- Press enter
- Click create basic task in the right pane
- Give your task a name and click next
- Choose when you want the shutdown to happen (one time, every week, etc)
and click next
- Choose the exact date and time you want it to start and click next
- Click Start a Program and click next
- Where it asks for a program/script, type: shutdown /s /t 60 /c "Windows
will shutdown your computer in 60 seconds. To stop the shutdown, open a
command prompt, type 'shutdown /a' (without quotes), and press enter."
- Click Next
- Click Yes
- Click Finish
