| observations I realise that RC1 is a dead string, but when the system goes rtm, I know consumers are not going to like a system that when they try installing one of their programs, at the end there is a string of panels saying some unsigned drive could not be installed and to uninstall the whole program and contact the vendor. Okay so the consumer uninstalls the program. Reboots and the Boot manager says that there is now an unsigned driver and the system won't start. What does gramps or aunt Clara do to remove the driver? ( In my case dual booting I can go to the other system and delete the driver from Vista partition). Also the Mail program message info is the pits. Half the time there is no display of unread messages and other times it is just inaccurate. Like now when I show -3 unread. Guess I'm ahead of myself or I have to write 3 messages which I have already read. :-) |

| RE: observations Funny, I haven't seen any of those issues.. May want to check your computer, or your load. | Re: observations In the case of 1, I tried to install Roxio Easy Media Creator 8. Version RC1 X64. Drivers are not digitally signed. Driver px4lpa64.sys gets installed anyway and reboot won't load. Case 2. Mail just often doesn't show the number of messages, unrread etc. and sometimes wrong.
