I just burned windows vista on a dvd.

I tryed opening it and it sais : "application or ddl D:\Sources\SPWIZENG.DLL
isin't a Windows valid image".

I pressed ok and got another message saying : the file 'autorun.dll' could
not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0xC1]

-----

When I downloaded windows vista rc1, there was 2 files downloaded.

There was one called :
"vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x86fre_client-lr1cfre_en_dvd.iso.dlm" and
another one called
"vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x86fre_client-lr1cfre_en_dvd.iso"

The "vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x86fre_client-lr1cfre_en_dvd.iso" is 2.1G
and the other one is 2.5G.

I whent to nero and selected burn image to disk. When I selected the file
(the 2.1G one) there was a message that said : the size of the file isin't
the same as the size of the image. The size of the file is probably
corrupted. Do you want to correct the problem or ignore the problem?

I selected ignore the problem and burned the 2.1G file at the fastest speed.
When it was done, I opened the cd and a screen poped up and said : the
application or DLL C:\Vista RC1\LR1CFRE_EN_DVD\Sources\SPWIZENG.DLLis not a
valid Windows image . Please check this against your installation diskette .

After clicking "OK" here , it says :

The file "autorun.dll" could not be loaded or is corrupt . Setup cannot
continue . Error code is [0xC1].

What file should I burn? and how do I fix the problem with the autorun?

Thanks, Matthew

Re: Unvali windoes image.

The one ending in DLM looks to be incomplete. Use the 2.5gb file that ends
with ISO instead.
