Re: FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

FireFTP is one, very good, example of a FireFox add-in.

Re: FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

Dont ask me.. read all the posts in this newsgroups and see what people are
saying.
If you have no problems then one or more or all of the following things have
happened:

1) You are extreamly lucky (it did not crash, the tabs worked, it did not
wreak other software)
2) You are not a power user. In other words you dont want or need to
customize the browser,
or you use it for simple browsing.
3) Your computer has been formated or windows installed recently and you
have a limited number of programs installed.
4) You have bad taste
5) You are not a "seasoned" computer user and the problems are invisible to
you.
6) You are Bill Gates, a MVP or you work for Microsoft.

Sorry...

Re: FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

I have had NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS installing and running Internet Explorer 7
on any computer. No crashes, no problems with the tabs, no problems with any
other application, no need to customize the browser (I like the clean simple
look much better than the junky cluttered look of Avant or Maxthon). And
computers are not new to me, I have been in the Computer industry for 25
years.

"Life" comes with Vista and is a "version"? Please explain.

The following is a link to the FF help forum (similar to this one). You will
find people having problems with FF. There are also newsgroups devoted to the
same topic and I assume they also have posts.

You can install it on Linux, Win98, WinMe, W2K and you can't install IE7
on those platforms. I guess that makes Firefox "better"?

Heh.

HOW to add the IE tab on firefox

After you install the add-on

You right click on the TOOLBARS and select Customize.. you find the IETAB
icon and you DRAG it onto your toolbar...

thats it... when you press it it will load the page with the IE engine

See the 2 screenshots

Re: FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

well actually no... the logic is that you use firefox engine mostly.... and
only in some sites that have not been build to be
universally correct with all browsers (stab here) you can use the IE tab.

There are linux users who have no way to use IE... so those sites are
snobing them...

I believe that if you are going to make a site, find a way to make it for
everyone.

Re: FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

I'm really confused. I think you should have another version of IE7 that I
have.

Since I started using IE7 on Vista I'm in love with it. It's super fast, the
new interface is very well designed and much better. You need a couple of
days to get used to it after some years using IE6 but then is great.

All the new features and security options are good for me and has all the
features that IE6 missed from Firefox. For me is a perfect browser.

Regards,
Angel.

The gentleman is saying that he has NOT had a problem with Firefox, and you
do not call that a fact?

What else do you need.

Do you even actually read these posts? Or is it that you are so against
anything Microsoft that your emotions take over your sensibilities?

Good reply. I agree with you.

Although I don't agree with the bad comments about IE7. For me is a great
browser.

OK, one fact.
[color=blue]

Let's see. A yacht. An island in the south Pacific. A cottage in the
mountains. A condo overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Magically become
18 again with all the knowledge I have now. A few million dollars in the
bank ...

Actually, I like XP and liked the previous OSes. I don't like the policy
of treating paying customers like criminals but I guess I'm just weird.
