Too much sound!

Almost everything I do produces a sound. Scrolling, window maximizing,
window minimizing. Sounds Sounds Sounds, more sounds than I can stand.

Any idea how to turn off just the scrolling sounds, window minimizing,
maximizing sounds? Also when I hover over a link, it's makes a noise.

It's like a very muted dull staticco sound.

Thanks,

Glenn

This is probably a hardware problem, do you have integrated sound on your
mother board? I've seen this happen on a Shuttle PC once and it made a faint
static noise when doing what you described.

I couldn't find a way to get rid of it.

Control Panel/Sound/Sounds. Come on, this is not rocket science.
