I only see a text file on vista dvd purchased directly from Micros

I purchased a copy of the Vista RC1 dvd directly from microsoft. I only see
a text file on the dvd with the following message on it:
"This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification."

Re: I only see a text file on vista dvd purchased directly from Mi

I had the same problem. The sulution is go google and search for Magic ISO
and open your ISO image when you get the program, extract all the files. And
there you go! Setup.exe should be there.

Bigleo is talking about a purchased copy of RC1 not a downloaded one.

What he (Bigleo) needs to do is set the BIOS to boot from the DVD drive, put
the DVD in the drive and reboot.

Re: I only see a text file on vista dvd purchased directly from Mi

I also used Magic ISO to extract the files from the downloaded ISO.

I wrote about it here

Since then Nero have released verision 7.5.7.0 which allowed me to burn the
ISO to DVD. When I insert the DVD I see the full file structure 2.49GBs of
it.
