| IE Has Stopped Working Error Message I am currently running RC2 with little problem, except the following: Whenever I close my IE 7 browser window, I get a pop-up error that says "Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working", and that it is looking for a solution to the problem. The IE browser then restarts. If I kill the restart, I get a "runtime error 217 at 03F71F76", or a "Com process" error. Any ideas? Thanks! |

| RE: IE Has Stopped Working Error Message I had the same type of problem, IE would open to my home page. But after a few seconds it would give me an error. I am also using Windows Vista RC2. So heres what I did..not sure why it worked: IN IE: (If you can get it to stay open that long, if not You'll have to go to Control Panel and go to Internet Options) I went into Tools ->Internet Options Went to the Advanced Tab: and Under Security went down to Phishing Filter. I clicked "Disable Phishing Fitler" then Clicked "Apply" I went ahead and closed IE and then reopened it, and everything was fine I could surf the web...I just had to disabpe the Phishing Filter fixes your problem.. Let me know if this works for you.. | Re: IE Has Stopped Working Error Message I had the same problem and have fixed it. All worked perfectly with Build 5600 but as soon as I had upgraded to 5744 (RC2) the message appeared. I've rolled back to 5600 (RC1)_ and the problem has gone away. Hope this works for you "elinden111" wrote: > Thank you for the feedback.
