| 2 users simultaneously with Remote Desktop I have 2 questions regarding RDP functionality with Vista: 1. I want to be able to establish an RDP session to my home PC while another user is logged on interactively on it without logging him/her off. I am able to do so with my current XP setup, what about Vista? Are there any methods, official or unofficial? 2. Every time I want to log on thru RDP I need to wait for confirmation from already logged on user. How to force log on w/o this annoying nuisance? I'm the only Administrator of my PC, after all. |

| Re: 2 users simultaneously with Remote Desktop I was only aware you could acommplish this with Remote Assistance - NOT Remote Desktop. RD always forces other user off. | Re: 2 users simultaneously with Remote Desktop I understand that this was removed by SP2. Haven't tried it since the SP2 beta (which is where it was first found to work). Also, as I understood it, replacing termserv.dll with the earlier beta file also exposes the machine to some security vulnerabilities. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "djet" <djet@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:264D3942-1959-4284-A7EB-41BF65DE2413@microsoft.com... > Make a search around "EnableConcurrentSessions". > > -- > Regards, > Daniel A.
