| Falling Back to RC-1 I upgraded to RC-2 because I read it was more stable and better than RC-1. I just don't see it - I am in the process of putting RC-1 back on my Dell XPS GEN5 - Sound is really horrible/choppy when I try to play WoW now. - I have to use the F8 key now to disable driver enforcement. On RC-1 I only had to use F8 once (for the driver installation) - I can't use Aero in RC-2 if I use the Nvidia Vista 64bit driver. I had to rollback to what RC-2 put on the pc. I had no problem with my GeForce 6800 in RC-1 - Sometimes the 24" screen is split in half on the Vista 64bit driver. - And this is my main pain! - I can't play videos in Media Player that have to use licenses. Bah! This broke the camels back! I honestly feel Microsoft took a big step backwards with RC-1. I have searched for solutions to the issues I am having and am not able to find any. |
