RC2 - 20 minute install!!!!?

Originally had an xp pro upgraded to rc1 build 5728, and ran the upgrade to
rc2 5744 boy was that crummy, everything was slow and programs didn't work
anymore.

I did a clean install on a Compaq nc6120 Centrino 1.73 with 1.5 gigs of ram
and I swear, I turned my head and the install was complete. Quickest
install ever!

After installing and running PerfectDisk my notebook is fast! No problems
with anything whatsoever.

except.........

Still need WDDM drivers for this *&*#$#$ Intel 915gm graphics card!!!

Re: RC2 - 20 minute install!!!!?

That would be GMA 900, and I don't think that a WDDM driver exists. And
originally, Intel stated that a WDDM driver for GMA900 would not exist,
but there was a post yesterday indicating that this was under
reconsideration.

Re: RC2 - 20 minute install!!!!?

If Intel gets enough feedback they or Microsoft will write a driver for it.

Intel might, but don't expect MS to. It's not their job.
