install normally, asking for a cd or something with a driver....

Re: VMWARE SERVER and vista RC2

On RC2 - I installed it under vista, and it caused my Local Network
Connection Properties dialog empty. I'm not certain if it's VMware Server,
but it was the only program I installed.

VMWare Server 1.0.1 - Network bridging was not working on 5728 and on RC2
for me.

Best regards,
K.

Re: VMWARE SERVER and vista RC2

I have also problems of networking with VMWARE Server on Vista (RC1) as a
host. The guest machines are unable to commicate.
I have the same problem with Virtual Server.
I am waiting for Vistual PC 2007.

Instllation was fine and guest OS'es were running fine, but the problem is
when you want to uninstall VMWare - this was destroying my network
configuration.

Christopher
