| Print Screen A lot of times on Vista, when I take a screenshot, I go to Paint and go to paste, but it's unavailable. Also, sometimes when I do go to paste it, it says that it couldn't get the clipboard data. It doesn't always do this. Is this a bug? Thanks. |

| Re: Print Screen I'm not familiar with this particular issue, but this might help you. Snipping Tool is another way to capture screenshots in Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate. It was designed for Tablet PC, but works great on a desktop pc. You can learn more about Snipping Tool at http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/1337cdba-52a2-4704-ad4d-2d7bace605b41033.mspx -- Letha Hudek Windows User Assistance team Microsoft Corporation "Travis King" <Anonymous@none.com> wrote in message news:%23lYkbnJfHHA.4552@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >A lot of times on Vista, when I take a screenshot, I go to Paint and go to >paste, but it's unavailable. | Re: Print Screen I use Irfanview for screenshots every day doing support on Forums that can attach images. http://www.irfanview.net/ It's shareware and a remarkable tool. Irfanview itself is very small but download the add-ons as well. Version 3.99 is the current one. Open Irfanview after you've installed it and press the "C" Key for Capture and then follow instructions. You can save the screen shot to a file or open in Irfanview for printing. And of course it does a host of other things like batch processing and converting to and from JPG images. I also use it for slide shows when on vacation to review each day's pictures. "No home should be without it" <g> |
