It's possible the Starter edition is an exception, but I'm sure somebody else will know that. |

| Re: Windows Vista support .NET? It does give an error on install, but it does work. I did install the SP1 soon after install, but it worked fine without it (very simple Windows application, though, just a single menu option and 2 buttons to open different files). But, the update is there, so it works with no problems. And Windows Updates finds the update when VS.Net is installed and downloads it automatically. :-) -- Dustin Harper dharper@vistarip.com http://www.vistarip.com -- "Andre Da Costa[ActiveWin]" <andred25********.com> wrote in message news:OdLNMhadHHA.3632@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Not out of the box, you have to install Service Pack 1 for VS 2005 to > enable compatibility with Vista. > -- > Andre > Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com > My Vista Quickstart Guide: > http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry > "Dustin Harper" <dharper@vistarip.com> wrote in message > news:D66CE14C-5ACB-477A-9DBE-E441B05D0CC4@microsoft.com... >> All of them will support the .NET (assuming Visual Studio .NET).
