Vista Bluetooth Keyboard Problems

When I don't touch my Microsoft keyboard for a while, pressing any key will
immediately make my Microsoft bluetooth mouse inoperable (moving the mouse
doesn't move the mouse cursor).

Waiting 30 seconds restores service to both the keyboard and mouse. No
errors or warnings are displayed.

Here is a thread showing two others with a similar problem:

Any suggestions?

Sam
