Hello,

Is it correct that programs appear twice here? I can see that one is for
All Users and the other for User Profile Startup but I've installed HP
drivers/software for my Photosmart 2610 and the HP Digital Imaging Monitor
has loaded twice (appears in my system tray twice). I've tried removing &
disabling one of the duplicates but it doesn't allow it (access denied)

No, it shouldn't appear in both, just one or the other. You should delete
the one in your personal user profile here:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup

Hi Rick,

It appears to run the "duplicated" programs randomly upon each boot up, e.g.
it's fine today but yesterday I had 2 HP Digital Imaging Monitors in my sys
tray.

Hello,

I do not have a Startup folder in the directory mentioned in the previous
message below. I did find a Startup folder here though:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

But there are no duplicates, would there be another Startup folder anywhere?
I quick search brings up nothing.
