Well I have Retail Ultimate and I still have the same problem.

Hi,

I think I may have found a possible solution. I had exactly the same
problem that only started when I enabled the mediaplayer toolbar.
Basically play music, and when I closed it, the music would still play
and the wmplayer process would still be loaded.

I have literally this minute unchecked the media player toolbar option,
thankfully now when I close the app, it stops the music, and the
wmplayer process.

Downside of course is now when I minimise mediaplayer it stays on the
taskbar, and does not go into the neat little toolbar......I can live
with that.

Would be interested to see if this fixes your problems?

oh man this completely fixed my problem, and the Logitech panel still
fucnctions and controls work awesome. Thank you so much!! Ive been
struggling with this for sometime now.
