| Iolo say that it is MS Fault I have a piece of software called System Mechanic 7 Professional which the makers Iolo Technologies say is vista compatible. It clearly isn't yet MS list it as one of the Vista compatible pieces of software. Iolo claim that a lot of the features of SM7 Pro won't work because MS haven't released the drivers/code or whatever to allow the product to write to the hard drive, is this correct and if so who is to blame? Iolo for releasing the software as Vista Compatible or MS for not releasing the code to enable software manufacturers to make thier products compatible? |

It is a complete piece of trash. Second, if the company that makes it told you it is Vista Compatible, and it is not, *DEMAND* a refund, and use the money on something that is not a waste. Honu |

They are even claiming that some features will not work therefore they are admitting it is not compatible. |

Then how is it Vista compatible? Return it. Why do you think you need something like System Mechanic? -- Tom Porterfield |

| Re: Iolo say that it is MS Fault It is strange that the latest version of ZoneAlarm, under Windows XP, also has problems when System Mechanic 7 is installed. I would suspect that Iolo (makers of System Mechanic) are dropping the ball here. -- Regards, Richard Urban MVP Microsoft Windows Shell/User "T5" <noanswer********.com> wrote in message news:OHunN8ecHHA.2268@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl...[color=blue] >I have a piece of software called System Mechanic 7 Professional which the >makers Iolo Technologies say is vista compatible.
