Synchronize Windows contacts / Windows Calendar

Is it in any way possible to synchronize the new Windows Contacts and Windows
Calendar with a Pocket PC via Windows Mobile Device Center? This should be
the default option if Outlook is not installed in my opinion.

RE: Synchronize Windows contacts / Windows Calendar

If you guys check out the Mobile Device Center FAQ, you will find that
syncing with Vista's Contacts, Calendar, and Mail (much to my dismay,
bewilderment, and downright confusion) is currently NOT. I'm not sure what I
plan to do about this at the current juncture - you might be able to port
them manually, but thats a pain and I have yet to try it.

RE: Synchronize Windows contacts / Windows Calendar

That would make sense, wouldn't it, being able to synchronise a device with
your new OS's built-in calendar, contacts, and e-mail applications,
especially since they're produced by the same company. But, no, you can only
sync with Outlook (which you could think of as a £90 conduit for your £300
device; no, wait, that doesn't make it any better).

Sorry.

RE: Synchronize Windows contacts / Windows Calendar

Kind of thought that. Gave up the project and got Outlook 2007 - expensive
but things work now.
Thanks
Ernie
