WMDC Changes File Date When copying file to Laptop

I have a file on my SD card in my device (Cingular) that was created at
4:10AM Easter time. Both my device and my laptop are set to Eastern time and
both are showing the same (correct) time. When I removed my SD card from my
device and placed it in a card reader connected by USB cradle to my Laptop it
showed the correct file time. When I removed the SD card from the reader and
placed it in my device and connected thru WMDC and looked at the file time in
File
Management it shows a time of 9:10AM

What's causing this and how do I corrected it?

Re: WMDC Changes File Date When copying file to Laptop

Hi,

Is it possible that one of the devices hasn't been updated with the new DST
changes?

Both have, but I had this problem prior to updating either of them.

Hmm, 'tis curious, as it appears the device is getting the time stamp and
assuming it's GMT and adding the appropriate +5 hours.

Re: WMDC Changes File Date When copying file to Laptop

What do you bet it starts working after April 8th.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Cingular device DST "fix" has some
issues.
