| Re: My response to Richards Urban, Urban legend.... my ego? Sorry if it seems like I have an inflated ego.. This is not the case really. however it is only a reaction to the denial of the MVPs that there is a problem with vista and flash... their posts are clueless saying "flash is working here". Their attitude most of the time is bad... Especially to those who think vista is not as good as it should be. And thats not how an MVP should be in my opinion. I know no one can know everything.. and I dont hate anyone... we are all in a learning journey. All they have to do really is to take a stroll on google and see whats really going on with vista and flash There is a problem... but there are solutions... and I am sure they will fix it soon. Flash is too big a thing on the internet now. "Frank" <fb@nospamm.cmm> wrote in message news:OaD84I%23bHHA.1300@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > jim kirk wrote: >> Adam, please.. | Re: My response to Richards Urban, Urban legend.... you can always close the application or be invisible ... but I have seen that IM is not only for fun... when you use it for working with other people it boosts productivity and collaboration... I guess it depends on what kind of work you do... I love IM... its like being in an almost telepathic communication with other people. I do however have a very small select group of people on my list.... I understand what you mean.... You download it and install it. Done! I'm guessing this has to do with your BS "educating the MVPs" post? That issue is not wide spread. It's a security issue that is not found on all installations. Once again you fail to find an achilles heel. > on hundreds of thousands of forums informing them, because you seem Oh please. When are you going to drop the drama queen act? It also shouldn't take people HOURS to install a video card on Linux nor should they be redirected to an 8 page webpage for instructions on how to do it nor should they have to down grade to an existing version and WAIT for an update in order to move forward. But they do. Wait... what was your point again? > I have seen hundreds of people having problem with this... Hundreds? What happened to HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS!!!! You seem to be a liar at best. |

| Re: My response to Richards Urban, Urban legend.... That video has been posted here so many times it's absurd. I like how he emphasizes ALL components. Because as we all know Vista doesn't work with either Intel or AMD nor any of the Intel chipsets. I think that idiot tried installing Vista on his G3. I further believe I installed Flash much later. I'm guessing it's an OS upgrade security issue. There are PLENTY of those. |

| Re: My response to Richards Urban, Urban legend.... Nope... you have to install messenger... send or recieve a wink, Live messenger then prompts you to install flash, then go to the MS site to install the flash player from there, THEN you will have the flash trouble... Since live messenger is flat on the start menu and even on the welcome center... this is a common problem I have been monitoring various sources on this problem .....for a looonngg time You can always ask MVP jonathan Key from the live messenger newsgroup. He is a protoype for an MVP... Always knowledgable, always kind.... He will confirm this problem. | Re: My response to Richards Urban, Urban legend.... jim kirk wrote: > however it is only a reaction to the denial of the MVPs > that there is a problem with vista and flash... > Really? How strange. I've been using Vista since the 4k betas and now have 2 x32 and 1 x64 Ultimates installed and have never had a problem with flash. Frank |
