Feed Headlines Gadget

Hi All,

I use the Feed Headlines gadget in the sidebar. I have set it up to use the
RSS news feed from the BBC website. The problem I have is that the refresh
rate of this gadget is hopeless. It doesn't appear to be user settable and
the headlines displayed are often almost 24hrs out of date. Does anyone
know if it is possible to increase the refresh rate?

Regards and thanks in advance.

AlanC

Re: Feed Headlines Gadget

This is hard to find, but the reasoning is valid. Feeds to the gadget are
via IE7. Open IE7 and click Tools > Toolbars > Feeds (or press
CTRL+SHIFT+J). Right-click the feed(s) you are using and click Properties.
click Settings for Default Schedule and select a time interval, or click Use
Custom Schedule and select a a Frequency. Note that if the feed has a
publisher's recommendation, that recommendation will be used.
Good luck,
Jim

Re: Feed Headlines Gadget

The feed properties are via IE.
I use BBC news & have it set to update every 15 mins & it does.
