| Re: microsoft works with VISTA What version of Microsoft Word ? - In Office Word 2007 it's a sub-set of the "Save As" command. Tools (Button). On older versions of Word the password function is in the Tools, Options, Security (TAB). All Office programs have pretty comprehensive built-in help on basic commands. | Re: microsoft works with VISTA At least with Word 2000 you chose File Save As then click Tools then General options which gives you a place to enter a password. More details in Word help. Don't think this is any different in Vista. | Re: microsoft works with VISTA Microsoft works includes WORD, thats what I think you mean, what version of word is this? Hey dont expect help from these vista losers... I am here to help you though! If you have word 2007 you can go to The big ROUND word button >save as and then do what I have in the screenshot: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/1083/screenie1rc4.jpg If this is word 2003, XP or 2000, then I believe that you must go to file>save as and then on that save as window there is TOOLS I think... one of the options there is to add a password. I dont have office2003 now to check... tell me if this helps "Doug" <Doug@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5488CEA2-1B05-4E06-B421-7EB5F1ADF196@microsoft.com... > can you just help me? > > "Mark Rae" wrote: > >> "Doug" <Doug@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:A6FBC1AF-4E20-4692-A532-055FF6BF01B0@microsoft.com... >> >> > i need to put a password on a word doc and can not seem to figure out >> > how >> > to >> > do it. can someone please help me. i hate vista >> >> What does this have to do with Vista...? >> >> >> |

| Re: microsoft works with VISTA The OS has made him so dizzy and frustrated that he has forgotten how to use the basic office functions. See my Vista Hazardous Health post that I state the following on point number 6: 6) Alzheimer's acceleration. The fact that Vista did such a blundering mistake rearranging menus and options with no apparent reason, actually HIDING important menus (see ie7 and wmp11 and windows explorer) strains your memory because you keep trying to remember HOW to do simple tasks you did with ease. After a few hours using vista you feel tiered and strained and you don't know why.. WELL THIS IS WHY! And how about all the nice sidebar tasks XP had that gave you many helpful options? Nope vista removed them too.. anything to make it more hard to use! User friendly NOT! "Mark Rae" <mark@markNOSPAMrae.com> wrote in message news:%23QRJrTpZHHA.4000@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > "R.
