How do I change the Video Codec in x64 Media Center?

I cannot get my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600's ATSC tuner to work properly in
media center. I always get a green screen, but the Microsoft Audio Codec is
working. I have already tried the commonly referenced utility but it won't
show any of the alternative codecs I've installed, such as Vista Codec
Package, FFDShow, DivX, NVidia PureVideo.

Re: How do I change the Video Codec in x64 Media Center?

I installed the 1600 successfully, however did not use the CD that came with
the unit (Version 3.3B) as it is for Windows XP.
The Hauppauge site has updates (Version 3.3C) that worked fine for me with
Windows Media Center. The WinTV application does not work for me however
(cannot find any channels).

Are you using an HD antenna and getting video?

Re: How do I change the Video Codec in x64 Media Center?

I am using an outside antenna, get bunches of digital channels very
watchable on Windows media center. It is the WinTV application that comes
with the unit (downloaded version 3.3c) that will not find any channels when
scanning. The Windows Media center scaned and found them just fine. There is
no input to the analogue (cable input).
