| External Microphone not recognized New installation of Vista Ultimate (prev XP Pro). The exteranl microphone is not being recognized. Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. 'No audio devices are installed' msg when you right click sound icon.      |

| RE: External Microphone not recognized Uninstall driver in device manager, reboot the PC, Vista will automatically reinstall driver. Also you can search for updated drivers in device manager.
