Re: Powertoy

I doubt that it would work, but why not give it a try and let us know? :)

Ok :)

Well, I didn't get that far. When run, it reports something like
"Known compatibility issues...". So, no joy...

****. I really like that little tool.

Hope they remake it for Vista.

Re: Powertoy

I am using the Power Toy ClearType Tuner. I got the same message. I went
ahead anyway and installed it. It works fine.

Re: Powertoy

VERY Interesting.

Lesson: Be Bold & Astute

I use the Clear Type Tuner too and I would not want to lose it.

It is MICROSOFT Software too. So the LEFT hand at Microsoft is not talking
to the RIGHT hand.

Steve Ballmer -- what are you doing about it?

So, I'd call this a BUG -- not an "ENHANCEMENT".

Too Much Nanny Software Manners in Vista...

AND Left Hand/Right Hand Coordination Problems.

Re: Powertoy

Seeing as how the power toys are not supported by Microsoft, I doubt that
anyone talked to anybody about anything regarding these neat little applets
that were designed for Windows XP. (-:
