i reasently broght Windows Vista home premium academic for my 12
year old son and before we install it i want to know will it be the same as
the oriangal version and do we have to be a collage student for Windows
Vista home premium academic ? can you please tell me if i can use Windows
Vista home premium academic?

You will need to read the license that came with it to know the specifics.
The place where you bought it should have been able to answer the question.

AFAIK, that is the same as the retail Vista Home Premium.
The only difference will be the terms of the license.
